PARK BRAKE

Park brake operation may be difficult for drivers with reduced finger dexterity or limited strength in hands or arms. There are two hand brake modifications available.

Hand brake modification
For limited finger dexterity a simple lever can be used to eliminate the need to depress the release button and increased leverage on the handbrake. the shape and size of the lever is usually custom made to suit the operators requiems.

Switch operated park brake
For limited strength a Electric Parking Brake is installed and at a simple push of a button the park brake is set with ease. The electric park brake is also usually required when driving from a wheelchair or power-chair. Conveniently located touch control has instant on/off switch and warning light.
